Every figure here is counted from the public register and can be recomputed from the pages of this site.

### The figure

**119,568 Colorado licenses fall due in September alone — the single busiest month of the state's renewal calendar.**

### The other counts

- 597,451 active licenses, in 92 types and 108 Colorado cities, collected 2026-08-20.
- 92,890 of them are Registered Nurse — the largest single profession.
- 20,930 licenses are held by a company rather than a person.
- 13,925 active licenses carry at least one disciplinary action (2.3 % of them); this site publishes the counts, never a case attached to a name.
- 6 license-type codes of 92 have no label in DORA's own type table; we show the raw code rather than invent one.

### How we counted

Counted from the State of Colorado's Professional and Occupational Licenses dataset and its license-type table on data.colorado.gov, public domain, collected 2026-08-20. Active licenses only: DORA's full file holds expired, cancelled and revoked rows, which are excluded here and which is why this site cannot say that someone never held a license. Every figure can be recomputed from the pages of this site.

### What this site will not say

No disciplinary action is attached to a name on any indexable page, no case
number is published, and no postcode. A rate describes a system; a name does
not. This site is not DORA and not a consumer reporting agency — see
[the terms](/terms.md).
